It is unfair, lacking in cohesiveness, and it is, overall, ineffective in providing for the health and welfare of all citizens." - Comments of a NH physician, NHCA HQI focus group, November 2001 The NH Health Care Quality Initiative The NH Health Care Quality Initiative is a health care advocacy project of New Hampshire Citizens Alliance (NHCA), working in collaboration with the New Hampshire Pediatric Society, the New Hampshire Academy of Family Physicians and the New Hampshire Medical Society. Our goal is to build public support for a health care system that provides access to the greatest quality of care and effectiveness of medical treatments for all New Hampshire residents. Through quality-of-care surveys, focus groups and other methods, NHCA is working with NH physicians and healthcare recipients to identify what constitutes quality health care.
