Programs
Since its founding in 1978, New Hampshire Citizens Alliance (NHCA) has played a central role in uniting progressives in our state to create a politically powerful community. As a multi-issue organization, NHCA
weaves together the common thread that brings together organizations, policy
makers and community members with common values. In 2008, NHCA will:
- Conduct research and inform citizens about issues of health care,
campaign finance reform, the end of the war in Iraq, and economic security
- Create opportunities for constituents to hold elected officials accountable
- Offer civic leadership training opportunities for women in Manchester and
Nashua
- Reach out to 15,000 unmarried women and 2,000 people of lesser means who
are unregistered or infrequent voters in Manchester and Nashua and encourage
them to make their voice heard in the policy process
- Train and mentor individuals and organizations seeking to become more effective advocates
